Christy Hepworth

As one of three co-founders, Christy has some of the most important responsibilities at Jamberry. From product development to testing everything Jamberry sells, she is hands-on with all of it. She has watched what was at first a small business venture turn into a thriving company.

Born and raised in Utah, Christy is no small town girl and enjoys traveling whenever she gets the chance. While earning her bachelor’s in humanities at Brigham Young University, she had the opportunity to do a Study Abroad in Vienna. After graduation, she moved to the Big Apple and received a master’s in education in New York, where she taught English as a Second Language in the Bronx.

The beginning of Jamberry saw Christy and her sisters actually making the nail wraps by hand themselves. Needless to say, the company has come a long way since then. Jamberry has become her fifth child. Though it’s been quite the journey, Jamberry has become an organization she is proud of. “I love how empowering Jamberry is for women. It gives them the opportunity to start their own business.”

When she’s not busy raising her family or running a full-fledged business, she loves experiencing new cultures, meeting new people, biking and has even braved taking on a triathlon. She also really enjoys being in her yard, gardening and taking care of it, which would explain why she enjoyed working for the BYU grounds crew so much. If you’re ever on the BYU campus, you can see some of the beautiful flowers Christy planted herself.
